To Be Left Behind
To be left behind to be as I am, to avoid the making of any myth, to be plain and simple, that is, beyond the need for deceit and decoration is it even possible, or do words already imply, does a song suggest, an act of dreaming, is this all a dream, is there any stitch that seams past seeming? a desultory morning before voyage, a leaving home to be homeless in air, to ponder above clouds, cross continent, land, distribute and assemble again it's raining, green of trees has gone sullen, I have painted them with my solitude
