This Freedom
This freedom I never felt I could find I do not now feel that I can have found rather that it has somehow found its way to come to be in me my foundation situated at depth I cannot plumb, cannot measure, somewhere abyssal else, where hope and despair don't separate and light from dark revels in revealing I don't know what I mean nor how I mean only that in song I share bafflement of my joy that has made surprise of spring a season beyond all of my reasons my dunbstruck tongue yet approves its speaking contemplation of what it cannot say
