Theater of mind, theater of heart,
The inner spectacle keeps on changing,
The principle characters find they have
More to say and with different music

Change of emphasis, change of desire’s slant 
Casts the action new, as if former play
Were but rehearsal for this new version,
Novelty of knots and new denouement

The characters we thought familiar
Acquire new depth that shows new intention
Perhaps we hadn’t paid strict attention,
Had drifted off and missed telling detail

I renew myself, I relive myself
I review myself, with fresh eyes, wonder
