Inner Dark
Though not only do they both attend both Joy and sorrow but join their creation, Neither sunlight nor the light of the moon Cares one whit for our dreams or our failures The indifference of the lights we love Is almost beyond the far shores of our Imagination’s most remote journeys Because we can’t help but warm what we touch The nameless shameless blameless unfeeling Fact of light that is core of all we are, Sun, moon and stars of all of which we are Have no entry into all we redeem That less than glint that is our inner dark The otherness of our own dimension
