I'm Grateful
For my insignificance I’m grateful The great I undertake is very small Light is my foot as sound is my impress My step is swift and so does not trample My place is next to nothing which nothing Can displace, there I am both clothed and cloaked In the display of seeming that I sing, These empty vessels your attention fills I sing the disappearance of my ink Through which I’m visibly invisible, Paradox with neck longer than giraffe’s Nibbling on white clouds as they sail blue sky I dance with my shadow, sheer foolery Which helps me tame the deep of my rhyme’s life
