Finally The Murmurig

Finally the murmuring of the rain,
no downpour, soothing instead from night sky,
the scent of the ground has started  to change,
drought is not broken, this is just reprieve

drought came in almost stately, dry day
after dry day, the bluest of blue skies,
the moon riding the arc of starry night,
rainless October, tumbling leaf rainbows

without any rain…
