Boulder

Boulder in my mind threatens to crush me,
less than Sisyphus,  I strain against it,
I give almost my all to hold it off,
the struggle drains me of my energy

absent in my mind, I impersonate
a ghost, a soul so ingrown , it’s but
pale version of itself that shuns the light
how I came to be bolder than boulder
